Trim N Healthy came about because we wanted to share Heather’s amazing discovery with all the other people out there struggling with their weight and feeling like there was just no hope. We are here to tell you that there definitely is hope and we are very excited to be sharing it with you.
Just recently I discovered a diet that changed my life....I have battled with my weight for 35 years which was really taking its toll.. In the beginning I put on weight with my first child and since then I have yo yo’d between a size 10 and a size 16. The frustrating aspect has always been that my body type puts most of the weight on below the waist. At my biggest I was a size 16 on the bottom, and a size 14 on the top.
Over the years I have tried every type of diet you can name. Remember the Israeli diet back in the 80’s?? When I was in my late 30’s I discovered exercise and became an absolute gym junkie. I lost a lot of weight by going to the gym every morning and running every afternoon and then dancing 5 nights of the week.... Surprise, surprise I managed to trim down to a very athletic size 10.
Of course as time went on, it became increasingly difficult to maintain that rigid regime. Children’s schedules, work pressures, and soon the gym was down to 4 or 5 days a week, dancing was once a week and a 10km run was increasingly difficult to manage. The cycle began again, skipping meals, eating too much of the wrong foods...weight started creeping on.
My next weight control phase included personal trainers who helped me shape up. Muscles toned and my stamina improved, but the stored fat on my butt and thighs was firmly entrenched. Even the Personal Trainers were becoming frustrated. Why wouldn’t the fat move? I was becoming desperate – was I going to have to exercise at this level into my 70’s?... a sobering thought.
With the discovery of Dr Simeons amazing protocol my weight worries are a thing of the past...I now understand what was happening to my hypothalamus, and what to do to prevent it happening again. After following the protocol I have dropped the stored fat and now I am enjoying that size 10 body I tried so hard to achieve. This amazing result was achieved without exercise, and without hunger.

I am Heather’s sister and my reasons for launching our website are very different to hers. I too am passionate about Trim N Healthy and what our programs can do for you; the difference is what drives me. Health and nutrition has always fascinated me, and over the years I have studied anatomy and physiology, naturopathy, homeopathy and massage. My medicine cabinet for years has been mostly a collection of essential oils. The notion that a homeopathic drop would be a catalyst in the release of energy from only the stored fat cells in the body intrigued and excited me. I have to say that I was initially very sceptical, and I didn’t want to be part of yet another fad that steered people away from good healthy eating, but I watched Heather’s progress and the amazing results she was achieving, and I got more and more interested. She was eating good food (no meal replacement shakes) and she wasn’t exercising to the point of exhaustion.
As children we often joked that I would eat the chocolate and she would put on the weight. In hindsight it was no joke. How could this be so?
Growing up in the same family, Heather and I tended to have a similar diet and we mostly played together. As a young adult, and even after 3 children, my weight stayed fairly constant and I didn’t ever have the need to diet, while Heather’s weight was constantly yo yo’ing and she tried every fad diet on the market.
I do eat quite well and lead a fairly active life but I am no saint when it comes to chocolate or hot chips and gravy or a Sunday roast with all those starchy carbs (potato, pumpkin and sweet potato). My weight has always just managed itself.
SO, there must be more to how and why we store fat than just calories in and calories out. I know I am not the only sibling with this story. I am sure a lot of you are reading this and nodding your head in agreement and also wondering why. I think how we, as individuals metabolise food, is the answer.
